Our guitar lessons are a structured learning experience designed to teach anyone how to play the guitar. Guitar lessons will be customized to suit the needs and skill levels of the student. This gives our students the opportunity to reach their full musical potential. Our guitar lessons encourage students to play the music they are interested in and can be tailored to suit different musical genres, such as pop, classical, rock, latin, country, world, folk and more.
During a guitar lesson, a teacher or instructor will typically provide instruction on topics such as guitar basics (e.g., how to hold the guitar and how to tune it), chords and scales, music theory, technique, rhythm, and style. The instructor may also provide exercises, drills, and practice routines to help the student develop their skills and improve their playing.

Intermediate and Advanced Guitar Lessons
We expect our intermediate and advanced students to understand basic rhythms, chord progressions, inversions, and patterns in order to take their playing to a whole new level. A weekly 45-minute lesson is required and Music Performance Program participation is highly encouraged at this level.
